"I've been playing over an hour now with my 100 watt 1974 Super Lead and its original 4x12 cab and man, I don't understand why you're not on every Guitar Player magazine! People would stop wasting time and money searching for the Holy Grail pedal! I have here dozens of pedals from [deleted] to [deleted] and others and your product just blows them all! It barks tone! Thanks again and keep up the good work and if you make a Univibe one day, put me on your list. From now on, people should call you Sir." L.R. - Quebec, Canada.

"I just got done
with the first run through with the pedal and thought you might like a prelim.
report...for reference my setup is a Klein Tele with Lollar al 3 pickups into my
Fargen Dual Classic with the 8VA by itself first and then later with the rest of
my pedals...all I can say is wow...it took a few minutes to figure things out as
far as settings mostly because the settings are shared...I had a blast with this
pedal...lots of tones available and the more I played and the more I more I
twisted knobs the more I smiled...tons of fun and very inspiring to play...I can
picture it being a very useful creative device which is extremely musical...
I read the manual and it was important and helpful as far as knowing what the
input trim does and how to best get the octave tones to stand out or be more
subtle but I must say it is rather intuitive to use...the video was also very
informative and helpful in this regard...
I am also really glad I got the input trim as I was able to smooth out some of
the more strident tones and it was especially useful in helping to dial in the
pedal with the octave on/off with my bridge pickup...I find the input trim
necessary when using my bridge pickup...it softened it up and made it much more
pleasing to use...the trick it finding the right balance to use it with both
sides of the pedal...
I was first a little unsure if I would be able to use both sides (fuzz alone or
with octave on) of the pedal with basically the same settings but found it to be
no problem...I was happy about that...
I found that when I have the octave on I flip the neck pickup on and just twist
the tone knob and dial it in for taste...this just makes the octave/ring mod.
stand out more or less...I found that I even like the fuzz side with my bridge pickup...it
gets a little more articulate that way but could also get a bit strident and
this is where the input trim came into play...one really nice bonus was that the
fuzz has nice cleanup something which I usually associate more with Germanium
fuzz...
now my biggest concern was how will it integrate with the rest of my setup
especially the buffer in my Klon...this has been the death of more pedals than I
care to remember...
a lot of pedals sound great alone but either sound feel or react differently in
my chain which has been developed over many years at great expense:-)
I ran it first into a Teese Picture Wah and then my Klon and Landgraff mod with
a DLS Echotap into the first channel of my Fargen which is Blackface fender
inpired and an Akai Headrush looper with an EH POG (Organ sounds) in the loop of
my Lehle Channel switcher into the second channel of my Fargen which is tweed Bassman
like...this was the most pleasant surprise...it integrates seamlessly with the
rest of my effects and when combined with the Klon or the Landgraff or both the
tones are amazing...
I can use it to create all kinds of textures which was my goal for this
pedal...I'm not a traditionalist in any sense of the word and wasn't after any
Jimi tones but rather I like pedals that inspire me to create...react to my
playing...blend seamlessly into my setup and are not difficult to dial in...
Theo I think with the 8VA you hit one out of the park...it does some nice synthy
steel drum kinda sounds which are really cool...
Thanks again for getting it to me in time to hand carry it back to Germany..."
S.S. - Germany.
"I have been using the Rangemaster today and I f*ckin' love it. I own a really cool Victoria Regal which is based on a Supro (even has a 15" speaker) and this pedal sounds stunning through it. Huge Thanks." - Steve Stevens (Billy Idol, Michael Jackson, Matrix Reloaded, Top Gun)
"The pedal smokes! I used it today on a Judas Priest recording as they were using Rangemasters back in the day and it totally made the tone. It's amazing to me how much it affects the Marshall, but in a good way. I can see how this type of effect was really addictive because as soon as I took it off everything felt lifeless and flat. It's definitely going on a bunch of other recordings in the coming weeks. Thanks again for getting the pedal out to me on such short notice...it saved the session and will most certainly become part of my arsenal of killer tones." - Steve Ouimette, 8th Wonder Productions (Guitar Hero III)."What a great distortion....this is truly the BEST distortion I ever heard. It covers all frequencies...something most other distortions don't...very quiet also!" - R.K., Hillegom, NL.
